About a year ago, a very good friend of mine, was debating on moving from Florida to Virginia. It's a good thing she didn't 'cause the biggest reason, then, was to be closer to me. Then I moved. So, it's a good thing things worked out the way they did...
As fate would have it, I moved half the distance closer to her, and she moves to Virginia! Since her sister recently moved there, she went to visit, got a job, and moved up there this past weekend. It was nice to be the halfway point for her. She came on Friday night and stayed through Sunday. It was healing to see a familiar face, reflect, relate, and just enjoy being a girl. We had a good time. I kept telling, Ellie, how much she is going to love Virginia. Young, Christian, single, energetic, love of the mountains- what the heck was she doing wasting all that time in Florida!?! I'm jealous for her.
