Each of my senses is getting to experience some of my favorite things right now. The sound of Christmas music, the taste of Dunkin Donuts coffee and a perfectly moistened coffee cake muffin, the site of Rachael Ray's smile, the smell of baked goods and fresh coffee, the thought of everyday treats having gingerbread in their name, the feel of cool brisk air... Christmas is coming and I can't wait!
I've been working two jobs since this past Friday. It has been quite the grueling schedule! Switching gears, standing all day, and running on low energy has been easier than expected. On my way home from a loooong day of work Friday, I had this overwhelming sense of appreciation come over me. God has been so real to me lately. I wish I knew how to explain how incredibly "there for me" He has been in the past couple of months. I have seen Him answer some of the most selfish prayer requests in such obviously not coincidental ways. You probably wouldn't even believe me.
