"Reality is like fine wine- it does not appeal to children"

I read this quote in "Searching For God Knows What" by Donald Miller. You can read it once and think, "good quote; a child would spit wine right out". Think about it a little longer though. Reality. ... Reality. ... Beyond the lovely sugar coat that we work so hard to create, the reality is that we are a creation who are currently separated from their Creator because of sin. A child could only conclude, "that sucks!" And it's true. It does suck. But when one grows, or can enjoy fine wine, one realizes that this Creator's plan manipulates sin, (a part of reality), to work with His plan for redemption. Maturity can see the beauty of fine wine and even appreciate it.

Hey friend! I have a proposition for you. I'll move to Georgia, and we hang out. Deal? I've got it all planned out in my head: our husbands will get along beautifully and we'll see each other tons. Are you in? :)
It looks like we're definitely moving to Marietta! What part of town are you in?
