Nasal Passage Blessing

In the course of our marriage, my husband and I have made some of the most exciting purchases of our lives. First came our dream coffee maker, then our washer and dryer, then a pregnancy test (though it was false, the purchase was exciting), then we moved and bought a condo, then a dog, and then a vacuum. Each of these purchases, specifically, were made with much anticipation and thought; we wouldn't buy until we were 100% confident. Never was there more excitement over spending money once we had made a decision! We have recently made 3 more life changing purchases.

First, the Neti Pot. We are having so much fun laughing with each other as we "irrigate our nasal passages" and say goodbye to sinus headaches!

Next, our very first cast iron skillet! I read a lot about how dangerous some of the chemicals in non-stick coatings can be, so my husband said as soon as we get our tax return we would get a cast iron pan. ... Since I'm not good at spending money, I waited and waited. The patience paid off! I found an overstocked Rachael Ray Cast Iron Skillet for only $20.00!

And the last, most exciting purchase we have made is a juicer! We have been saving money in a little jar for this one. In discussing with my husband how I was going to make him a bunch of dinners and freeze them while I'm gone to Guatemala, he surprised me by informing me that he was planning on doing a juice cleanse while I was gone. Then he took me to the store and asked me what he needed. He's so cute. I'm excited for him and stoked about our new juicer! We've already used it and love it. I'd show you a picture of ours, but it's currently a little messy.
We have been more and more convicted about taking care of the bodies that God has given us; each of these things adds to that endeavor! In case you couldn't tell, we are super stoked!

A juice fast!!! It will change his life! Yay for Steve-o! You're rubbing off on him. ;)

Also, I am really interested in that netti pot idea... hmmm... more and more people have mentioned it.

Thanks for the little peek into your lives! :)

Netti Pots are so awesome and they do change your life - mine has been changed in the last year too! I don't know what I'd do without it. I can't stand taking allergy meds!

Cast iron pans are awesome! I too read about all the chems in those non-stick pans. Eww!

I did a juice fast a while back - I think I might do another in the near future. They work wonders every now and then. Have a great time in Guatemala! That sounds exciting - and like I'd need a gallon of SPF 50!

Well, have a great week!
