As Far As The Notes Will Take Me

Today I just wanted to get lost in the music at work. Problem is, I couldn't. One, I was working. I don't think the customers would have appreciated that. And two, I couldn't quite get the music as loud as I would have needed.

I'm starting to think that I listen to music to block out thoughts. Does anyone else do that? I noticed that when I really want to think about something in the car, I have to turn the music completely off. Not down- off. I also started to notice that when there is a lot to think about but none of which interests me, I have to have music on non-stop. I either sleep or I listen to music. These are the ways I avoid my mind....

I always drive with no music on. I actually enjoy torturing myself with constant thought I guess. Although I do a whole lot better when I do drown my thoughts out with music at least some of the time. I guess I'm just hoping I think of something really genius or something. Hasn't happened yet though! I feel ya girl! (that sounded kinda hip, huh? - haha)
