Smelling The Roses

It wasn't until half-way through college that I learned how to be social. It's amazing what that skill can do for one's relationships. I have really learned to treasure my closest friends and take advantage of quality time with them. Last Thursday night and Friday, my fantastic friend, Liz, and I met halfway between Virginia and Georgia. We stayed up way too late, chatting, eating nutritious Waffle House, and enjoying the hotel's jacuzzi. Then, we spent the next day in the cutest little hippie town, tried on the happiest clothing, got very relaxing massages, discovered fun shops, enjoyed some great coffee, tasty food, and fun conversations. It was such a great girls day out! We both had very busy weeks on both ends of this little trip- but it was so worth the traffic.

I highly suggest pausing life for occasions such as these!
