I recently received an undeserved gift from an incredibly loving family whose children I help with. From the moment I opened the card and saw the hundred dollars, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. You see, our entire marriage we have never owned a vacuum cleaner. In Lynchburg, we borrowed my sisters. Here, we swiffered and swept... Don't ask about the carpets. Since we moved here, we have also acquired two pets. You can only imagine our need for a vacuum cleaner. It has taken this long for us to buy one for two reasons; first: money and second: knowing I wanted a Kenmore canister vacuum that uses bags and has separate attachments for hardwood and carpet (which costs money). This is exactly what we got. Thank you, Sears.
If you had been a fly on the wall in our home on Thursday, you would have witnessed the happiest girl with a vacuum cleaner ever to be seen and you probably would have been vacuumed up. Unexpectedly, my Thursday to-do list was erased and I was left with a day all to myself. Our home has never been so clean. I used every attachment to suck up every ounce of loose dirt from our home. My vacuum sucked clean carpets, wood, tiles, baseboards, walls, couches, curtains, and even my dryer. I stuck the hose down the lint collector and sucked up every piece of lint waiting to be collected. It was therapeutic. I cleaned out cupboards and wiped down every appliance in the kitchen. It felt good. -Sigh- never was a happier girl to clean...

Yay! Congratulations on your exciting new appliance! :) That happens to me every time I (almost never) break out the Windex - windows, mirrors, sink faucets, TV screens, my husband - nothing is safe from the Windex!
