Caution: Slow Eater

Anyone who has ever eaten a meal with me knows that I am an exceptionally slow eater. The first time I ever noticed how slow I ate was on my senior trip in high school. Everyone would be halfway through seconds before I was halfway through my first serving. I started counting how many times I chewed before I swallowed... and I've always lost count. I also thought I had an unusually small esophagus or something. I've tried so hard to rationalize the time it takes me to eat a normal meal. Recently, when talking to some friends who were patiently waiting for me to finish eating, we figured it out! I never take a bite unless my mouth is completely empty! I love figuring things out.

Wow... that is a good thing. A lot of people have the habit of stuffing their mouths and keeping them stuffed until the food is gone! What a lady you are when you eat. :)

hehe... thanks for sharing your little discovery! I love getting to know you better through our blogs. :)

you should start your own diet and charge people money to participate!

sounds like a wonderful diet! I think you're doing the right thing chewing slowly! You know that book Skinny - b-word... You should write one called Skinny Nice Girl - with tips about eating healthy and chewing slowly - like Nick said - and make money!

You are too sweet to keep us in your prayers - it means a lot to me!
