I call it "mobiletography". I've come to really appreciate having a phone that can handle the countless snapshots that I take in a day just to remember how much I love the simple things of life. I've decided to put a language to this reactionary habit I'm sure most of us have and make it my own. Parrot me if you'd like, just remember your inspiration. Moi, duh! (wink wink). To my professional photographing friends, I beg your pardon as I downgrade your art to a 2 megapixeled camera with no zoom or skill required.
bench I wanted to steal from the subway
To my faithful blog readers- I hope you rang in the new decade with joy, excitement, and good memories. I am currently in New York City with the husband, my sister and her husband. Why you ask? Just for long-awaited kicks and giggles. For a year, we have been planning and saving and we have finally endured the long road-trip up here so that we can enjoy the guilt-free pleasures of a vacation that does not revolve around squeezing everyone you've ever known into a small amount of time or entertaining wee children (my sister and her husband are due for their first baby in early March).

I was thinking that bench would be a hard item to find a place for but on second thought I could paint it and put it someplace.
Best regards,
